Brooke School 24th March

There was nothing stereotypical about the workshops we ran this month for learners with special educational needs and disabilities at Brooke School in Rugby. Stereotyping in the Workplace was one of four sessions designed to develop learners' awareness of the world of work and build their self-confidence. The All About Me, Who am I? and What's in the bag? sessions enabled learners to explore their personal interests and how they lead to future employment. Team-working and Communication skills were also developed across the workshops. We look forward to going back to Brooke in May to explore learners' dream jobs and provide practice interviews with local employers.
