Year 12 and 13 students at Etone College most likely to be seeking jobs this summer benefitted from our Future Careers workshop recently which had a special focus on Careers in Sport & Leisure provided by a practising Sports practitioner brought in to provide advice and insight. With input from our expert Careers Adviser who providing a wider perspective and advice on CV writing, job applications and how to find opportunities including Apprenticeships in Sport & Leisure, the students really engaged in the workshop.
“I’m sure the workshop has encouraged many of the students to explore jobs, further education or training opportunities in Sports and Leisure,” said Lisa Barlow who commissioned the activity at the college.
We’ll be back there at the end of April to develop the same students’ job search and application skills and knowledge to help them with their next step when they leave the college.
