'It raised aspirations, challenged stereotypes and met Gatsby benchmarks,' enthused Louise Moorman, Careers Leader at Shipston High School after the Careers and Employability Skills we ran for 120 pupils in February. Local businesses from Advanced Manufacturing, Care, Communications, Digital, Financial Services and Hospitality took part giving pupils insight into Careers in their sectors and the skills and personal attributes they value and develop in employees. There was also a talk about STEM careers from Pfizer. The highly positive feedback from pupils included “I enjoyed doing the team tasks” and “it really helped me understand how to
achieve what I would like to achieve.'
