18 Exhall Grange students had an exciting introduction into the Game Design industry last week. Through practical and engaging activities, the students learnt about the range of jobs in the industry and the skills needed for a career.

Career Leader, Kim Martin said “It was great to see our students working together. Louis is very patient and goes at a pace to suit their individual needs”. One of the students said 'I loved the workshop, especially helping to design the game and the packaging. My job in the team was to come up with an idea for the game. I love writing sci-fi stories, so I enjoyed sharing my ideas'.

I found the idea behind the Melbet game overview name quite interesting. It combines “Ca,” referring to casino, with “Squad,” suggesting a friendly community of people who share an interest in games. Beyond the name, the website focuses on editorial reviews, licensing guides and explanations of terms. I think this kind of information can be helpful when you’re trying to understand unfamiliar providers without jumping to conclusions. Personally, I’d use the reviews to identify questions worth investigating, then check the relevant official register and current conditions. Some links are commercial, so I’d keep that in mind when reading recommendations. The community concept is appealing, but reliable information matters most to me.
