“What brilliant and highly-informative Careers events our Year 7, 8 and 9 students have had,” enthused Sarah Barley-Morey, Assistant Headteacher, CEIAG and Learning Conversations Lead at North Leamington School. In our series of Skills & Enterprise workshops in the Spring term, students gained insight into the Financial, Health and Social Care, Digital, Game Design and Engineering sectors from local employers. They explored jobs and career pathways, and discovered what skills and personal qualities employers look for when recruiting. “Our students were incredibly engaged and will benefit greatly from this experience of meeting employers,” added Sarah.
